Overview

The Kindergarten Building project encompassed the design and construction of 8 blocks of Kindergarten building, spanning a land area of 10,000 sq. ft.

Integrated Project Design (IPD), initiated the development of 3D models across all disciplines and facilitated clash detection and coordination through online meetings. The project built up to the creation of an as-built model seamlessly integrated with a facility management (FM) tool.

Challenges/Requirements

• The task at hand was to craft a detailed and precise 3D BIM model incorporating all disciplines, guaranteeing an accurate representation of building components and systems, while also furnishing a comprehensive project overview.
• The objective was to achieve the LOD 400 standard, necessitating the creation of an as-built model that accurately reflects the final construction details and incorporates essential information for facility management purposes.

Deliverables

• Detailed LOD 400 BIM Model: IPD effectively produced highly detailed as-built models for all disciplines, guaranteeing precise representation of the final construction.
